Stop the siting of a GDF for nuclear waste in South Holderness
Indicate to Nuclear Waste Services (LLW Repository Limited and Radioactive Waste Management Limited ) along with local government that the local communities of the South Holderness region are unwilling to host the Geological Disposal Facility for Nuclear waste.
As is indicated in the preliminary information being supplied to residents of the area, the facility will only be sited with the acceptance of the local population. This petition is to demonstrate that the facility will be unwelcome in this area and there is a demonstratable majority opposition to it, and as such the area be withdrawn from consideration for the facility.
