The current average reading age in Britain is 9.5 years. Many underprivileged children have limited or no access to quality educational programs that help teach them read or count or spell. Sesame street is one such program that has such valuable educational value that could help and should be aired

-made for children from less fortunate backgrounds
-prided themselves on researching both the watching habits of their audience & their ever-shifting situations; be it social, financial or otherwise, so children can learn & feel seen
-It has evolved into a beloved series teaching communication & acceptance along with maths & literacy
-show prided itself on its diversity & inclusivity
-will help disadvantaged children learn
