Parking tickets should not exceed £20

Additional Information

The local councils are ripping us off daily with the cost of parking tickets, how can the economy improve when business vehicles delivering goods, gas fitters mending gas leaks, parents dropping off kids for school are penalised with fines which exceed the amount of money a week the law states a person needs to live on.

Parking should be free for 30 minutes, £1 per additional hour normal locations and £2.50 per hour in prime locations.

Tickets should be issued only by hand and on visual inspection there is an offence committed not by a CCTV system which is designed for safety monitoring.

There is a need to control parking but fairness is also needed.
