Major bank's internet banking shows withdrawals and deposits in the wrong order - giving a massive negative balance!
The government must insist internet banking shows transactions that happen in the right order.
The bank in question, is a major retail bank is still allowing unfair, worrying and bad practice. It can show balances deep into ' the red' when that never actually happened.
This is not fair.
It is falsehood to show a withdrawal appearing to happen before a deposit - it's just not true if it took place the other way round. If banks should show high levels of clear, open communication, they must reflect reality in their customers' transactions!
