Nationalise the energy sector

Petition Details

We believe the energy sector is profiting from our misery and we need a more affordable energy sector instead of the privatised shareholder one we are all subjected to now.

Additional Information

We want the Government to reform and take back our energy sector and make it more affordable for us all. People are really struggling to meet the new costs the energy companies are charging. We believe the prices are not only putting businesses out of business but could put people’s lives at risk and add to a recession as it becomes more and more unaffordable. British Gas boasted profits of £751m which was in just a year up from £71m the previous year.
