Exempt bonuses from income tax

Petition Details

We want the Government to remove any form of tax implications on bonuses. Bonuses are rewards for our hard work and we believe should not be taxed.

Additional Information

Bonuses are often given as rewards for employees who meet their or/and the company's goals. It’s often a form of gratitude after a year of hard work. We believe it's unfair and not logical for bonuses to be taxed just like income. We get taxed on our income (salaries) in order to use public services. We believe bonuses are different, because they are often given for extra hard work, or the extra mile that we go to in order to achieve our reward. We believe we should be entitled to keep the gross amount of our bonuses.
