Christine north
Born to a British father (a serving solider) and German mother in Germany. Although my fathers name is not on my birth certificate a DNA test was carried out when I was younger and as result of this maintenance was received for me until I was 16. Instead of granting me an automatic right to British citizenship based on this information the home office have rejected me. This leaves me to
A) Try and locate a man that does not wish to be found in order to prove once again he is my father.
B) Plead with the German embassy to reconsider their decision not to recognise me as a German citizen after all this time
C) apply for naturalisation sitting a life in the UK test.
I am petitioning for my right to a British citizenship to be recognised without being directed down any of the above avenues.
