Hold Councils Responsible For Implementing MoT’s For Roads.
We demand that Government hold a debate to get county councils to implement MoT’s for roads the same as car drivers must obtain to use the roads.
Car drivers are legally required to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy but where is the MoT’s for the roads to ensure they are safe to drive on.
So many roads are not upto the required safety level to drive on and some are causing serious accidents because drivers are either avoiding pot holes or hitting them causing damage to steering and suspension so it’s time the councils are legally held responsible for their condition and upkeep, failure to do so should require them being held accountable legally.
