Ensure that Young People's voices are heard by ensuring UKYP is supported.
UK Parliament and Government should stand in solidarity for their young people by ensuring that United Kingdom Youth Parliament has a future with sufficient funding and advocacy from the UK Parliament giving them a platform to continue making an impact for young people.
The British Youth Council was set up 75 Years ago in 1948. On the 21st March, it was announced that it was filing for insolvency. British Youth Council allowed young people to be heard. They offered training and funding to young people to ensure that the future of democracy was being represented. After more than half a million young people participated in Make Your Mark it illustrates how passionate and engaging young people are excercising their voice. Fight for Young People and their future!
