Prevent the development of the former site of Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital and save wildlife
There are plans to development land in Alton, Hampshire on the Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital. The plans include the removal of old remaining buildings and build on the surrounding land which will have a negative affect on nesting birds and bats
Wildlife that will be affected are:
- Blackbirds, Song Thrush, Robins, Nightingale, Blue Tit, Magpies, Tawny Owl
-Long Eared, Daubentons and Perhaps Greater Horseshoe Bats
-Huge variety of invertebrates attracted by the meadow which forms in the fields in the summer
I want the government to ensure that NO harm is done to the wildlife and that any development which will have a negative impact is blocked
