Make it illegal to telecanvass any phone without prior written permission of the owner
Find more concrete ways to stop sales companies badgering people over the phone to buy products like double glazing or a new phone tariff. Make it illegal to talk sales to private households without previous written consent of the owner. Some of the worst companies routinely ignore the telephone preference service and phone the same people year after year.
