Give Mr Alan Bates (from the Post Office) a Knighthood.
Give Alan Bates a Knighthood for all that he has done to help to bring justice for Postmasters and Postmistresses. If anyone deserves to sit in the House of Lords it is someone like Mr Bates who really cares about justice and fearlessly stood up to very powerful institutions on behalf of others.
We need people like Mr Bates in the House of Lords, fighting for the people.

The Government will only accept individual nominations, not petitions, so we can’t publish your petition. To submit a nomination for an honour, visit: http://www.gov.uk/honours/
We also can't accept petitions about appointments. This includes requests for peerages. You can find out how people are appointed to the House of Lords here: www.parliament.uk/about/mps-and-lords/about-lords/lords-appointment/
