State Pension is below the minimum wage payment. Stop tax on pension incomes
State pension (£11500) paid is below the government minimum working allowance (£20820). Pensioners have paid towards their State pension in tax and NI payment's. Other pensions paid take people across the lower tax band and tax is paid again. Stop tax on all pension incomes.
Pensioners have contributed to the wealth of the country and are now being penalised for paying into pensions that we have all been advised /recommended by various government parties to have. Once we pay over the lower tax band we pay tax again on our pensions that we have paid into. Stop pensioners paying tax on pension incomes so that we can meet the minimum wage requirement.
