SIA licence holders to be given higher salary.
With an increase in national threat levels arising, SIA frontline employees are at more risk and are exposed to threat. A higher salary across the board should reflect the dangers that we are exposed too, including risk to life.
The training and knowledge we hold as licence holders are to ensure the safety and wellbeing of people, venues and objects. We adhere and practice the laws and legislations put in place by the Government. We should therefore by protected by the very same Government and be entitled to an increase in salary.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about pay for security staff are a matter for their employers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
