Plant trees to combat air pollution in any green space. Urban Forestation.

Petition Details

Government: Prioritise tree planting in London's open spaces or any space to combat air pollution. Allocate resources, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement sustainable forestry practices for cleaner air and a healthier environment.

Additional Information

Tackling London's air pollution is vital due to health risks & environmental harm. Tree planting filters pollutants, absorbs nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter, & releases oxygen. Expanding tree canopy fights emissions and pollution, improving air quality. Green infrastructure and urban forestry regulate temperatures, reduce noise, and aid biodiversity. Government tree planting commitment shows leadership in health and sustainability, setting a citywide example and securing London's future.
