Hold a national referendum on whether the UK leaves the ECHR.
We would like the UK Government to hold a national referendum that lets the people decide if the UK continues to follow the European Convention on Human Rights or whether the nation disregards it and replaces it with an alternative piece of legislation that meets the needs of the British people.
The European Convention on Human Rights has been subject to debate over recent weeks with parties putting forward compelling arguments for and against this piece of legislation. As a democratic nation the people of the UK have a right to decide whether this legislation is fit for purpose.
