Adoption Annulment
Adoption like Marriage be an entirely artificial construct.
Unlike Marriage though it cannot be Annulled.
Therefore in order to officially recognise that such an arrangement as adoption does not always work out - one or both parties to the adoption should be able to annul / cancel the arrangement.
That could be the Adopter/s or the Adoptee/s
The Adoptee/s would have to be eighteen years of age or older in order to pursue this action.
Adoptees can already change their name by Deed Poll - thereby effectively 'divorcing' themselves from their Adopters, but, as things stand - the adoption remains in place / official.
This be no longer acceptable to those of who are adopted.
