Make repeated acts of non-completion of works by tradespeople an offence

Petition Details

There is not enough in place to protect vulnerable people from tradespeople who start works on their premises and fail to complete.

Additional Information

As soon as a tradesperson starts work it is seen as them having the intention to complete and becomes a civil matter. CCJs can be hard to enforce and going to court can be costly.
