Government intervene immediately!
Why can’t the Government intervene immediately in the anomalous cost disclosure regime created by the FCA for Investment Trusts in the way that the Chancellor has just intervened on the FCA’s proposals to “name and shame”?
It’s anomalous to the UK - and is harming UK financial services, risking millions of jobs and was created by the FCA despite European law on which it was supposedly based clearly excluding UK listed Investment Trusts from the cost disclosure requirements.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the FCA's cost disclosure regime, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
