Hold a referendum on replacing Welsh devolution with local direct democracy
I would like the Government to hold a referendum on replacing Welsh devolution with county-level direct democracy. I think that Housing, Education, the Welsh NHS and Economy have floundered and that our leaders give the appearance of not caring. I think that taxpayer's money is wasted.
I think that the Welsh Assembly should be replaced by the implementation of county-level direct democracy through referendums, which may offer a path towards transparent, accountable, and cost-effective governance in Wales. By devolving power to the grassroots level, empowering citizens to participate directly in decision-making, and embracing transparency as a guiding principle, Wales can chart a course towards a more inclusive and responsive form of democracy.
