Abolish all faith schools.
Faith schools run the risk of bringing children into adulthood not prepared to deal with other people.
At its extremes where students are taught intolorence of other beliefs and lifestyles, or taught ideas as facts that are not inline with current scientific thinking; or at a minor level where students are required to participate in 'Collective worhip' or disciplined for obstaining.
It is inappropriate to expect a child to make an informed descision with regards to the faith they follow. It is inappropriate to let them grow up in an atmosphere that does not reflect individuality, freedom of thought, and an acceptance of others.
This house calls to abolish faith schools, and do more to inform children of their religious (and secular) rights.
