We, the undersigned, demand a Royal Commission to review Children's Social Care and Family Justice in the UK.
The commission's remit should include:
1. An investigation into 'forced adoption'.
2. A review of the commercial incentives to place children into care.
3. A review of the family justice system's secret hearings and the involvement of care agencies and expert witnesses.
4. A review of the use of psychometric testing for all of those involved in family justice and social care.
5. A review of a statutory wider legal duty of care where individuals might be harmed by the imposition of public agencies' processes.
6. A review of the relationship between adult social care and children's services with a view to merging the two to deliver an holistic response to a family's needs.
It's time to put families first!
