Save heart of the village "Beaufort Hill Community Miners Welfare Hall"
Beaufort Welfare Hall was built by the miners – who had one penny deducted from their weekly salary – and it officially opened in 1935.Our main concern is that a lot of the members we have have autism spectrum disorder. It’s not easy for them to adjust to a new place, it has to be suitable and it has to be somewhere they can easily get to."It’s a vital time to keep young children interested and they all come voluntarily which is so important in today’s climate, especially at that age from 12 upwards.”
