Petition Action

Gut Flora

Additional Information

In the gut there are many strains of bacteria and yeast which are essential to health. Due to the overuse of antibiotics and other factors many people have illnesses associated with a poor gut flora.

Illnesses such as :-

Alzheimer's Disease
Obesity
Parkinson's Disease
MS
ME
Arthritis

Whilst more research is needed there is plenty of evidence to prove that gut health is a major issue. There is no specific test for Parkinson's, Alzheimer's or MS however there is a test for the gut flora.

Please sign this e-petition to -
• have this test made available to all that need or request it.
• have doctors educated to understand the gut flora and what tests and treatments that are available.
• have gut health given a high priority within the NHS.
