Encourage cross-party working between the main party leaders
To create a weekly meeting of the major party leaders to discuss the issues of the day in a publicly minuted meeting.
The aim is to create an arena for consensus and pragmatic politics and to avoid the damaging and fruitless confrontational exchanges during Prime Minister's question time.
Each leader must attend, or send a member of stature, and the discussion points made readily available.
