Do not limit Government services and benefits to online access
The Cabinet Office Minister has stated that in future, Government services and benefits will only be available to people applying online:
http://tinyurl.com/onlyinternet
However, many people have serious problems in obtaining online access – those who are seriously poor, blind, mentally of limited capacity, and/or just isolated and not well informed. It is unreasonable that all such people should lose the right to public services, pensions, bus passes, TV licences etc. that they’ve paid for all their lives. We request that the Government withdraws the proposal.
