Sugar tax
Force manufactures of processed foods to reduce the amount of sugar they use. It is not the fault of obese individuals who become addicted to sugar or fat in food. It is the fault of the manufacturers who have caused this epidemic of obesity and related ailments. Introducing another tax to increase individuals shopping bill is a kick in the teeth to consumers but no doubt the idea will bring joy to manufactures who will make bigger profits from this increase.
