Protect young people through easier access to TFL transport
Buses in London are becoming cashless on the 1st July.
This means that young people have means of getting onto a bus without an oystercard or the funds, it has been estimated that 2,000 people a day loose, or have their oystercards stolen.
We aim to make it a legal obligation for bus and tube drivers to let under 18's onto a bus without their oyster card if it is passed 10 o'clock at night.
This will protect young people from being stranded and clearly outline who bus drivers can let on without cards, as currently this is not consistent.
Please sign this petition to protect vulnerable young people from having to get home alone, late at night.
It will not cost the government anything as under 18's aren't charged fares on their oystercards...
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
