Social Worker Tax Rebate
Social workers who pay into professional membership bodies such as GSCC, BASW, HPC, or launder their own uniform, can claim an income tax rebate. Details can be found at www.socialworkertaxrebate.co.uk
HMRC have consulted over the eligibility of social workers to claim tax relief against Unison membership fees, and this is presently not fully tax deductible in all cases.
