fitting of defibrillaotrs in all schools and eventually public places
The fitting of defibrillators in all schools and public places.
Since the tragic death of my daughter Lilly-May, whilst at school it was brought to my attention as to how important these pieces of life saving equipment are and the lack of them in schools.
Children spend a majority of their time in school, there are 270 Sudden Cardiac Arrests per year in UK schools. The chance of surviving a SCA I the UK is only 6% but immediate access to a defibrillator can raise this chance to 74%.
Defibrillators should be a piece of health and safety equipment fitted in all schools and eventually public places
