bullying tactics by councils for unpaid council tax

Additional Information

There is no warning sent in some council areas, to inform people if they do not pay their council tax they will be taken to court with the entourage of court costs then levied against them.

I want the government to stop this happening without the council having sent at least two warnings to allow people to pay their council tax up to date.

To stop the council insisting on full payment. AFter all if someone is late paying they normally have financial difficulties, so they are unlikely to be able to pay the whole year in one go.

To allow the council leniency when a person is in real hardship.
