Rolf Harris: Review Prison Allocation
I would like the government to debate in the House of Commons, the ability of persons convicted of crimes of a sexual nature, to serve the majority of their sentence(s) in open prisons, especially in such cases where a prison sentence is less than ten years.
I think that a prison sentence served in majority in an open prison, is not an unpleasant experience and as such is no deterrant to other would-be perpetrators.
I would like tthe government to debate the point above, and reconsider the relocation of Mr. Rolf Harris to an open prison, within a month of the start of his sentence.
