school governor contracts
Require all school governors to sign a contract of appointment which defines their role and debars them from promoting religious ideology or political affiliation.
This became necessary after school governors in Birmingham and Bradford forced the heads of state maintained schools to impose observance of daily Muslim acts of worship.
