No one can be an MP if they have a Criminal Record, even historical ones.

Additional Information

To clean up the political environment, no person may become an MP if they have any criminal record on police file, even for spent historical convictions. Any MP successfully prosecuted for any criminal offence, must resign and never be allowed to take office again.
