NHS England says no to a surgery in Peasmarsh
The Rye Medical Centre has already approved the provision of a satellite surgery in the newly refurbished Peasmarsh Memorial Hall. This service will be provided for the village by the Medical Centre at no additional cost to the NHS.
NHS England has refused permission for this to happen stating that 'Conditions are not satisfactory’ without any inspection of the facilities on offer which the CQC had previously approved in December 2013
We believe this to be another example of a non elected body making decisions on something they neither know or care about
