Free tv license for military personnel

Additional Information

Why should military personnel have to pay for a tv license when the majority already paid for one at home but are never there to put it to use, and when they do have a tv license paid for at their work address, the majority of their time is spent overseas or away from their work place.
Criminals do not have to pay for a tv license yet they have these luxuries for free whilst in prisons, not serving for their country as the military do, but serving time for crimes they have committed.
