Petition Action

Action to end the Israel/Palestinian conflict

Additional Information

This petition has the objective of democratically compelling the government of the UK to use its best (lawful) endeavours, including economic sanctions and international diplomacy, to secure the following:

(1) The immediate cessation of military action by Israel in Palestine;

(2) The immediate abandonment by Israel of the policy of expansion into Palestinian land on the basis of theological entitlement or any other basis not in step with international norms;

(3) For both parties to the conflict to consent to a neutral UN peacekeeping force to go on the ground in Palestine with a mandate to enforce the peace and protect civilians. Such a mandate to include authorisation for proportionate force to prevent the utilisation of rocket attacks from within Palestinian land.
