Confirm the UKs commitment to full membership of the EU and its institutions
The 1975 Referendum on membership of the then European Economic Community (now the EU) overwhelmingly confirmed the UK membership of the EU and its institutions. Recognising that in a complex and changing World, the EU enables the UK to play a substantial role in World affairs not available as a single country, the Government should unambigously commit itself to play a major and positive role within the EU and all its institutions
