Residency and age qualifications for parliamentary candidates
In order to make MPs more representative of their constituents and to increase the experience of real life that an MP brings to the Commons two measures should be introduced:
1. Any candidate for a parliamentary election must have a minimum residency in the constituency equal to or greater than the maximum period between elections + 1 month.
2. Any candidate satisfying the above should also have a minimum age of 25 years at the time of the election.
