Public should have say whether Police should be routinely armed.

Additional Information

Public should have been consulted on whether Police should be armed routinely in public. These armed officers seemed to have appeared on the streets from nowhere. Weapons should be locked securely in the police vehicle and not on display. This decision should have been put up for public debate.
