Petition Action

Peerages in exchange for money

Additional Information

Ban the practice of giving peerages in exchange for financial donations.

David Cameron once said "We've got to stop this perception that parties can somehow be bought by big donations either from very rich people, or trade unions, or businesses."

Yes the practice still goes on. Peerages should only be given in exchange for the good things a person has done for their country.
