Reject the Loss of Playing Fields in North Horsham

Additional Information

Reject planning applications DC/14/1091 at the Holbrook Club and DC/14/1624 at the Novartis Sports Ground.

These two planning applications will lose a total of 4.5ha of playing fields/potential playing across the two sites, the only two maintained sports venues in the Holbrook community.

To replace these two areas of grassland with 217 dwellings would be an irrevocable and dire decision that would damage the UK's Olympic 2012 legacy and ignores Sport England's policy on the Protection of Playing Fields.

Our communities and the generations to come need open spaces, not wall to wall housing.

Please reject Planning Applications DC/14/1901 and DC/14/1624 as listed with Horsham District Council.
