Keep Creationism out of our schools

The ECC (Emmanuel Christian Church/ Everyday Champions Centre ) Wish to open a Creationist free school in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

The have collected signatures locally as evidence of support for their application however their street canvassers neglected to mention that they believe that the world is less than 10,000 years old and that dinosaurs didn't exist. They will also only be employing creationists as teachers.

We call on the government to legislate to prevent religious extremists, with particular reference to Creationists, from receiving state funding of any sort to set up or run their schools.
