Stop selling voters details

Additional Information

Remove the requirements for an open voters register and selling of voters details under the People Act 2002.

Voters should have to give permission to the councils to put their details on the open register and not have to opt out of this register.

Voting is a private and personal matter and the details of those that vote should be treated in the same way and not passed on to any business as this leads to unwanted marketing post and phone calls.
