All professionals in the UK should be investigated concerning the abuse of children whose interests they ignored
All professionals in the UK who are responsible for protecting children should be investigated when their inaction is found to have led to abuse. The Rotherham scandal concerning the abuse of children who were ignored by the professionals who were paid to protect them highlights the need for new legislation and action to properly protect children.
