Call for criminal prosecution of officials who were negligent in Rotherham.
After a public inquiry is completed and the full details of the Rotherham scandal is revealed, there should be criminal charges brought against public officials who failed their duty in the protection of children, all officials in Rotherham who knew what was going on and could have influenced and or sanctioned decisions to halt child abuse but did not should be put on trial for gross negligence. This scandal has been going on for possibly a decade and it is unacceptable that one public official resigns and apologises. Justice must be done and accountability must be brought.
