Make manhole covers more visible

I came across a 'think bike' advert yesterday that said 70% of motorcycle accidents are on bends, usually because the rider has lost control.
As a motorcyclist myself, i know the only problem i normally have is when my wet tyres are introduced to slippery surfaces. Like the man hole covers that are slippery and never visible!

Its about time these things are made easily visible at the very least.
