Petition Action

Mobile phone Billing Scam in plain site

Additional Information

Regulate the way mobile phone companies manage end of contract billing.
Handsets provided with contracts have costs recovered across the contract term. However the provider KNOW that many people do not cancel a contract on time or at all. They KNOWINGLY continue charging for the handset although it's cost has been recovered.
After contract end 1000 customers £10 over billed per month = £10000. The provider will hide behind a contract written by them for them. KNOWING most people don't read them due to the lack of plain english. Real important information is lost amongst legal speak.
