Improving parliamentary representation
In order to make MPs more representative of their constituents and to increase the experience of real life that an MP brings to the Commons the Electoral Admissions Act 2006 should be amended in 2 respects:
1. The minimum age for any parliamentary candidate should be increased from 18 years to at least 25 years
2. Any candidate for a parliamentary election satisfying the above condition must also have a minimum residency in the constituency equal to or greater than the maximum period between elections + 1 month.
