Financial compensation and Prisoners on remand

Additional Information

Prisoners on remand who are subsequently found to be not guilty should receive financial recompense. The amount of financial recompense should be universal (ie. not based on loss of earnings) in a bid to ameliorate the traumatic experience of incarceration.
